Natsuki’s family, the Jinnouchi clan, dates back to the Muromachi era (1336 to 1573), and they’ve all come together to celebrate the 90th birthday of the spunky matriarch of the family, Sakae. That’s when Kenji discovers his “summer job” is to pretend to be Natsuki’s fiance and dance with her at the birthday celebration.
As Kenji attempts to keep up with Natsuki’s act around her family, he receives a strange math problem on his cell phone which, being a math genius, he can’t resist solving. As it turns out, the solution to the mysterious equation causes Oz, the program that controls nearly every aspect of life to be hacked into, it’s up to Kenji and his new “family” to stop the hacker before it’s too late.

Pokemon 3 the Movie

This is my favorite Pokemon movie and most fans would agree with me that it is the best among the original series. A better storyline, beautiful animation, ‘dreamlike’ soundtrack and interesting characters that deliver emotion and intrigue.

Pokemon the Movie 2000

Also called ‘Pocket Monsters the Movie: Revelation Lugia’ and ‘Pokemon: The Power of One” is the second Pokemon feature-length film released in Japan 1999. It complements the Orange Islands Saga (Season 2) of the series and features new Pokemon, including Slowking and the legendary Lugia.

Pokemon the First Movie

I remember seeing this in the cinemas for the first time and this became a part of my childhood. During the 90s, Pokemon was slowly “evolving” into a cultural phenomenon. As a fan of the classic anime series, I was super excited to see this on the big screen and boy, wasn’t such a good film. Seeing it once for the action and seeing it a second time, there is a deep, underlying message about violence and love that is often overlooked.

Evangelion 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone

Being a fan of the original Evangelion series, I was really excited to hear that it is about to be remade to reach out to new fans. This film does not fail to disappoint even the truest of fans. In fact, it is a great way to be familiar with the series with fresh eyes. More importantly, it analyzes the series from a different perspective. By that there is new animation, better storytelling, great understanding of themes and more importantly, a new direction for the series.

Perfect Blue

This was the classic anime movie that inspired Black Swan, and for many good, legitmate reasons. Perfect Blue is one of those films that will keep you on the edge of your seat for its deception and wonderful execution between reality and fantasy. It is a psychological thriller which will make you wonder whether the decisions you make now may come back and haunt you later in the future.

Brave Story

When 11 year old Wataru’s father leaves home and his mother is taken ill to hospital, he decides to change his fate by travelling through the door shown to him by his friend Mitsuru. In a land of magic and monsters, Wataru must summon all his courage and embark on a journey with several comrades to meet the Goddess of Destiny and change this “mistaken fate”. On his quest to find the Tower of Fortune and be granted any wish, he must conjure up all his bravery to battle a world of demons, his own friends and ultimately himself.
