Lucy’s parents had a very hard time picking a single name for her when she was born. Because of their indecisiveness, they decided to give her over a dozen different names. And it was legally approved by a civil servant no less. At an adult age, Lucy manages to land a job at the same public service office. But her reason is to seek revenge against the person who legalized her ridiculously long name. Being a civil servant is not an easy job due to dealing with many angry citizens, facing different challenges, and having to put up with wacky co-workers each day. However, Lucy is determined to do whatever it will take to get her revenge.

Hetalia Axis Powers

Based on a popular web-released manga series by Hidekazu Himaruya, this has been described as a “cynical gag” story set in Europe in the years between WW1 and WW2 (1918-1939), using exaggerated caricatures of the different nationalities as portrayed by a gaggle of bishōnen. For example, the Italia Veneziano character is into pasta and women. The Deutsche (German) bishi loves potatoes and sausages, and Nippon is an otaku boy. Installments of the manga have jumped back and forth in setting from the ancient times to modern-day geopolitics. The manga’s title comes the Japanese words for “useless” (hetare) and Italy (Italia).

This psychological thriller, based on the manga written and illustrated by Sakae Esuno, is about Yuki, a loner who’s not very good with people. He prefers to write a diary on his cell phone and talk to his imaginary friend, Deus Ex Machina – The God of Time and Space. However, Yuki soon learns that Deus is more than a figment of his imagination when he makes Yuki participate in a battle royale with eleven others. The contestants are given special diaries that can predict the future, each diary possessing unique features that give it both advantages and disadvantages. Within the next 90 days, the contestants must try to survive until there is only one left standing. The winner will become the new God of Time and Space.

I-It’s not like I’m thanking you!

I would just like to say thank you to everyone who came today and supported us. It was our very first fundraising event; even though we could not raise as much as we originally planned, we had fun today and it’s great to see that a large number of people have decided to join us! On behalf of the whole club, we would like to thank you for showing your interests and supporting the club and welcome to the new members! In future we hope that we could raise more money and gain more members; so spread the word!

On a side note, thanks to everyone who kept us company as we would’ve had nothing to do without you guys showing up and showing your interests! We also had fun talking to you all and I hope that we could have a great time together in future! For those who wish to find more about the Fundraiser, just highlight your mouse over the activities tab and it should be under fundraiser; or you can click here.

Welcome to the Anime Club’s Official Blog

Hi everyone!

Isn’t this blog awesome or what?!

As most members are aware of, the purpose of this blog will not only assist the club in publishing our Anime magazine by the end of the year but will also allow members to share anything related to an Anime discussed or posted on this blog.

The Anime Club’s main goal is to allow its members to explore any specific concepts surrounding their favourite anime. They can add comments, respond to reviews, share photos or discuss a video. Anything posted can include word documents, pictures or videos. This will help you embrace the anime culture and hope to change the way people view anime. Additionally, members can interact on anime shows that favour or have not seen before.

I am really excited on where this club is heading. This is my first time writing a post on a blog so I hope this seemed like a really good post to begin what will be a fantastic anime blog!!

Enjoy it members and brace yourselves for lots of anime fun!

Perline.
President.
